Madewell Grand Opening: San Francisco

Madewell's inviting and charming Golden Gate Bridge window display

Ah, at last. Madewell has finally set up shop in the good old city by the bay.  Since the launch of J. Crew's edgier sister company,  Madewell has grown to become one of my favorite destinations for key closet essentials like perfectly tailored tops, casual-chic accessories and of course... denim!

Madewell's exuberant grand opening event was appropriately put on by San Francisco's lifestyle and culture monthly, 7x7 Magazine, with delicious snacks catered by street food connoisseur, Le Truc.  From fashion enthusiasts to intrigued tourists, it felt like everyone in San Francisco showed up to welcome the arrival of this retail favorite with open arms.  Although Madewell's online store will forever be bookmarked on my computer, it's great to know that I can always drop by the brand's new downtown location to ensure the perfect size and fit.
