Dinner with Diesel & SOMA
4/23/12

Last week I had the opportunity to attend Diesel & SOMA Magazine's dinner event to celebrate the brand's new SS12 collection at Diesel's flagship store in San Francisco. The concept for the event was beyond adorable: an intimate dinner party at your girlfriend's apartment. From mingling with new faces to being randomly selected to model pieces from Diesel's spring collection, here are a few snaps from that amazing night...
Chic table tops and interiors designed by the talented Mary of POD & Seed.
Bartenders in pink Diesel denim preparing cosmos for thirsty guests.
Wandering into the men's section which was set up to resemble a closet.
With Theophilus London and my dinner date, Cynthia.
Not going to lie, I was completely caught off guard when the Editor of SOMA selected myself and 4 other adorable ladies to model a few pieces from Diesel's SS12 collection.  Here we are having fun in the dressing room after our transformation.
I was handed a pair of Diesel 'My Guy' boyfriend jeans and an edgy graphic tank that I styled using pieces I wore to the event that night (blazer, necklace, bag, shoes).  I'll be honest, I've never really considered acquiring a pair of boyfriend jeans before, but Diesel has officially changed my mind.  I'm happy to announce that I'm now the proud owner of my first pair of boyfriend cut jeans thanks to Diesel!
Heading home in my original party getup:

Zara blazer, 3.1 Phillip Lim top, Pamela Love rosary, American Apparel skirt, Alexander Wang shoes and bag

  7. I've always liked Diesel's very individual style =) they are usually quite basic, but so wearable and so strong, something that would really shout a loud statement on the streets. Those Diesel jeans look great on you! bet you all had a great night :D

You did one stellar job on styling yourself and i've always been under the impression never to judge a piece of clothing UNTIL you've tried it on and the boyfriend jeans do indeed look completely amazeballs on ya.
